For 6 of the 10 employees, the work has changed by Corona measures, and still, the current mobility system is reaching its limits in terms of traffic jams and CO2 levels.
TNO has researched more than 10,000 employees. The results show that 6 out of 10 employees indicate that their work has changed since the Corona crisis. Three months after the start of the measures, 44 percent of the people are working at home, two-thirds of whom are fully employed.
Also, Deloitte‘s research result shows that the current mobility system is reaching its limits in terms of traffic jams and CO2 levels. In 2019, the total Dutch fleet grew by nearly 2% and is now counting almost 10 million cars, of which approximately 19% is considered a corporately owned car.
Dutch corporations have an important role to play in shaping better country-wide mobility. Still, many of their own corporate mobility policies are not flexible or forward-thinking enough to cope with all concerns.
